February is BLANKET MONTH

Donate your Blankets

During the month of FEBRUARY we will be collecting blankets/duvets to donate to the FOOD BANK.

During a talk  given to our members in January, by representatives of the Food Bank, it was of interest to hear that it was not only food they distributed but all types of household items.

We at Onchan Pensioners Social Club are asking people to have a look in their cupboards and see if they have a blanket/duvet that they would like to donate to this valuable organisation.

All we ask is that the blanket(s) duvet are clean and brought, in a bin liner, to our club on either a Tuesday or Thursday Coffee Mornings between 10-00 and 11-30am.

Our target is to try and  collect at least 50 units during the month.
